The CYO Region 19 Website is Back!

After 3 years the region 19 cyo website is back.

Region 19 11th and 12th Grade Boys Basketball

This cyo website was created in 2005. It soon took off and created alot of hype and chatter about region 19 high school basketball throughout the hall ways of high schools around bucks county. This league has alot of talent. It has star football, soccer, and baseball players throughout the league. These players have played and known each other since grade school. Many go to school togther or have gone togther at some point. Bragging rights are on the line as these guys try to go out on top.

Bill Taylor was more then a great cyo basketball player. He was a great person. A great friend. A great student. A great teammate. A great leader. Simply put Bill was loved by all. He will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Billy.

A Game Recap from Billy Taylors Junior and Final Cyo Season.

St. Charles blowing a 9 point lead in the last minute to 4-10 Cabrini:

Even if it was early in the season, this was the biggest upset the league had seen. The Knights entered this game totally overlooking the Cardinals. And for that, Bill Taylor and John Chapman would surely make them pay, they played the game of their season that night, eventually leaving a lasting impression on the Cardinal faithful. St Chucks blew a late 9pt lead thanks to the great defense of Bill Taylor. Who came up with clutch steals and a big layup to put the cardinals up for good.

R.I.P Matt Crozier

5/14/1990 - 1/5/2011

Matt Crozier was a graduate of LaSalle College High School. He did not play Cyo High School Basketball. But he was apart of one of the greatest 7th and 8th grade region cyo teams in history. His St. Ignatius team won region 19 and the City title in 2001-2002. Matt was a great player throughout his years in the PCL at Conwell-Egan and LaSalle. He was as good a big man as you will find. He continued his basketball career at John Carroll University. In two seasons with JCU, Matt had 608 points and 376 rebounds. Off the court Matt was a joy to be around. He was friends to many who were connected  to this site through his time at Conwell-Egan before he later transfered to LaSalle. He will be greatly missed.
